Where to Watch the Game When You Don't Have a Ticket

 Tailgate Spots
Blue Lot near Gates 10 and 11, anywhere along Alumni Drive or Waller Drive, and EH Goodbarn Field.  Most of the students party in the field next to Waller Ave.  Alumni tend to tailgate around Gates 10 and 11.  The red lot {in the front of the stadium} has a more family friendly atmosphere.  Our tailgate neighbor has converted an ambulance into his own wildcat mobile.  It is painted blue and white.  The siren plays the fight song and the lights are blue and white.

A family friend provided the insider information this weekend.  Mr. Chris is a alumni of Kentucky (Class of '89).  He would like to add that football games were always fun, win or lose.  Also if your team plays in Lexington in October, check the Keeneland schedule and see if they are racing.  It is truly a special experience and a way to experience Kentucky hospitality at its finest.

Thank you, Mr. Chris!

xoxo,
Ashton

Yay! Thank you for featuring UK! Although we are horrible this year, nothing beats tailgating. And heading to Keeneland, then to a football game makes for an even more amazing Saturday.

I went to UK my first year of college..I will never forget the shirt I bought during that football season. (UK Football..A drinking town with a football problem). haha, it was at least fun to tailgate even if going to the games weren't the greatest..now basketball is a whole different conversation!

VEry nicely done and I like that tradition of us not winning. We all wonder when that will change. Nevertheless, we are loyal to the end and have no shae in showing our devotion. After all, we do have basketball! :-)
